PROJECTING CHANGE FILM FESTIVAL LAUNCHES THURSDAY, APRIL 22-25th.

15 provocative films + engaging speakers from around the world
discussing social and environmental issues over 4 inspiring days.

Including the CANADIAN PREMIERE of

WHAT’S ON YOUR PLATE? – a witty documentary about kids and food politics.

Followed by an engaging discussion on local food for kids and their families lead by JULIA O’LOUGHLIN, Registered Holistic Nutritionist and School Facilitator for Rocky Mountain Flatbreads.

Filmed over the course of one year,¬†What’s On Your Plate follows two eleven-year-old multi-racial city kids as they explore their place in the food chain. Sadie and Safiyah take a close look at food systems in New York City and its surrounding areas. With the camera as their companion, the girl guides talk to each other, food activists, farmers, new friends, storekeepers, their families, and the viewer, in their quest to understand what’s on all of our plates.
