The Under One Umbrella Society is fortunate to work in partnership with and to have the support of Watari Youth, Family and Community Services, a Canadian registered charitable organization since 1986.

The 125 Stories of Grandview Woodland’s Residents project would not be possible without the kind and generous support of The City of Vancouver, Britannia Community Services Centre and The Kettle Friendship Society among our many community partners. Grandview Viaduct

Here is some information just incase you need to leave our fine neighbourhood… on the 1st Ave Viaduct.

Grandview Viaduct rehabilitation starting Oct 28th

A five-month rehabilitation of the Grandview (1st Avenue) Viaduct is underway on Terminal Avenue, between Cottrell Street and Clark Drive, to free seized expansion joints, replace aging bearings and extend the life of the 72-year old structure.

The work on the travelled portion of the viaduct will be conducted between 9 pm and 5:30 am on weeknights and during the day on weekends. During the period, one lane of traffic in either direction will be open except for a number of short duration (one to five minute) closures.
