Village Vancouver’s Cedar Cottage Seed Saving Collective presents:

An Urban Seed-Saving Workshop!

Speaker Justice Marshall will provide a general overview of seed types and seed-saving techniques.  Bring your seed-saving experiences and freshly harvested seed to clean/process or give away.  Members of the collective will be on hand to share their experience of this year’s seed harvest. Light refreshments and cookies will be available.


$10 or by donation (no one turned away for lack of funds).


This workshop is suitable for all levels.  For those who have not attended our workshop before, the booklet The Five Levels of Seed Saving is included with your donation.

About the speaker:   Justice Marshall apprenticed with Dan Jason (Salt Spring Seeds) for the 1999 season.  He previously gardened at Hollyhock Retreat Centre and went on to start Linnaea Farm Seeds in 2000.  Justice continues to marvel at the natural world and loves to see people enjoying plants, gardening and seedsaving.
